Acceptable use
Effective 8 September 2026. What the service may not be used for.
SelfCheck is operated by Pavlo Kushnirenko, acting as an individual. The operating company is in the course of being incorporated; until it exists, no contract is offered or concluded through this site, and the data controller is a named individual rather than a company.
You must not use SelfCheck to:
- upload material you have no right to hold, or grant access to material you have no right to share;
- present a result as a finding of forgery, fraud or dishonesty by any person — the product deliberately does not make such findings, and representing that it has is a misuse of it;
- describe a result as court-approved, legally admissible, government-endorsed or certified;
- attempt to enumerate, guess or brute-force access links, or to reach records not shared with you;
- probe, scan or test the infrastructure without prior written permission, other than to report a vulnerability as described under Security;
- upload material designed to attack the service or its other users.
Access may be suspended where use appears to breach this policy. Where the breach is a misrepresentation of a result to a third party, we may say so to that third party.
